11 members took part in the three day retreat at Ferndale, Lower Portland, only one hour from Blacktown. The weekend was a huge success.

Each member had their own room including ensuite.

We had use of the large conference room to spread out and work on our crafts, which included classes in beading with Nicole, where we made a bracelet and a brooch, and fabric flower and mini-kimono making with Judy, along with working on all the quilting, and stitching we took along to complete.

There was lots of laughter – it was a great way to enjoy each other’s company. And the food… well, we all returned home a great deal heavier because of the home-cooked meals that were prepared for us. No washing up, no making beds, just craft, craft, craft!

Over all, we were well and truly pampered, and we can’t wait to go again next year.
